TUOLUMNE COUNTY - ANNUAL FATHER'S DAY FLY-IN
TUOLUMNE COUNTY - ANNUAL FATHER'S DAY FLY-IN
Columbia Airport offers a wonderful Fly-In campground which is a popular destination for aircraft organizations to hold annual fly-ins for their members and guests. You can pitch your tent in one of 20 campsites that include picnic tables and barbecues, or you can camp right under the wing of your airplane. The Columbia Airport campsite is one of the best deals for camping anywhere with a modest fee of only $10 per night per aircraft which includes your overnight tie-down fee. The campground features flush toilets and hot showers in addition to fire rings, horse shoe pits and a volleyball court.
We do not currently accept reservations for campsites in the campground.
Camping is on a first come first served basis!
Dogs are allowed in the campground but must be on a leash at all times. Dog owners, please provide your own pet waste bags and help keep the campground clean.
The Tuolumne County Pavilion features a full kitchen and dining hall and is available for your next group fly-in or special event for only $75/day. Please contact the Columbia Airport Office for availability, details and reservations. (209) 533-5685
While visiting Columbia Airport, you can walk into the historic town of Columbia and experience life as it was during the Gold Rush days at Columbia State Park. There is a trail that starts behind the airport terminal building and ends at Parrots Ferry Road which can be followed into Columbia. The total distance is less than a mile. Columbia offers several eating establishments, hotels, and entertainment. Visit the Tuolumne County Visitors Bureau or the Columbia Chamber of Commerce for more information on Columbia.
